The upholstery is cut and covered by a trimmer minutes from the workshop, so the vinyl, the thread and the stitch are specified per machine the same way the frame colour is. We use Novatex Aspen, a marine-grade vinyl built for boat decks and commercial floors, stitched with Coats Dabond v138, the UV-treated bonded polyester that holds sails together. Sweat, sunlight and a chlorine wipe-down are the easy part of its working life.
Seven of the Aspen colours also come in a coarser pebble grain, and the thread can be tonal or contrast in any of the three stitch finishes. Screen colour is a guide only, so ask us for a physical swatch before you commit a whole floor to one.

The pendulum squat was designed to be the most quadriceps dominant form of squat you can perform. We took it to the next level by incorporating an adjustable foot plate, combined with the perfect back pad angle and "arc", to allow full hip and knee flexion to, maximally, overload the quads in their fully stretched position. The long back pad supports the lower back, to allow those with injuries to still perform a full ROM squat. We designed the Citadel Strength pendulum to be the most adjustable pendulum on the market, with over 30 positions in the footplate alone to adjust for the height and ankle range of the user.
The reverse band pegs allow the user to smooth out the resistance profile of the exercise, to make every inch of the rep brutal. The self unlocking mechanism, allows the user to, safely and effectively, lock in their upper back using the handles on the side of the machine to increase stability and output from the quads.
The construction of the pendulum includes 4 and 5mm steel, bearings rated to over 2 tons and indexing pins rated to over 2 tons, to deliver a pendulum that can handle any weight your members can use. People from 137cm to 203cm (4 foot 6 to 6 foot 8) can comfortably use our pendulum due to the adjustability.
