The upholstery is cut and covered by a trimmer minutes from the workshop, so the vinyl, the thread and the stitch are specified per machine the same way the frame colour is. We use Novatex Aspen, a marine-grade vinyl built for boat decks and commercial floors, stitched with Coats Dabond v138, the UV-treated bonded polyester that holds sails together. Sweat, sunlight and a chlorine wipe-down are the easy part of its working life.
Seven of the Aspen colours also come in a coarser pebble grain, and the thread can be tonal or contrast in any of the three stitch finishes. Screen colour is a guide only, so ask us for a physical swatch before you commit a whole floor to one.

The Citadel Hip Thrust was designed to be the most stable and comfortable Hip Thrust on the market. It features a full length back pad that supports the lumbar spine to remove the abs and stabilization from being the limiting factor to allow the glutes to be trained to failure. We use a one piece injection molded foam pad over a seatbelt as seatbelt driven hip thrusts are impossible to load heavily without discomfort and the belt digging into your hips. The extra long arm means you don't have to load a lot of weight for the machine to be very heavy. The slanted footplate allows external rotation of the femur to fully shorten glute max as well as increases stability. The center mechanism rotates freely during the exercise allowing the weight to sit perfectly over the hips no matter how much hip flexion you have.
The construction of the hip thrust includes 75x75 solid RHS steel, bearings rated to over 2 tons and indexing pins rated to over 2 tons, to deliver a hip thrust that can handle any weight your members can use. People from 142cm to 203cm (4 foot 8 to 6 foot 8) can comfortably use our hip thrust due to the adjustability.
