Everything gyms usually ask us before they order: colours, upholstery, freight, warranty and where you can go and actually lift on one. If your question is not here, ask us directly and we will answer it honestly.
Any colour you want. The powder coating is done by a trade a few minutes from our workshop, which is exactly why the frame colour is genuinely your choice rather than a pick of three.
The swatches on our machine pages are examples, not a menu. Give us a RAL or Pantone code, match your fit-out, match your branding, or pick a charity colour for the floor. Tell us the code and we will coat it. Citadel Orange is our house colour.
Yes. Upholstery colour and stitching are specified per order, including diamond-stitch finishes like the one on our pink Hip Thrust.
The pads are covered in Novatex Aspen, a marine-grade vinyl rated past 100,000 Martindale cycles and tested to AS 1530.3 for flame resistance, and stitched with Coats Dabond v138, the UV-treated bonded polyester used on sails and boat tops. Twenty-eight vinyl colours, nineteen thread colours, tonal or contrast.
As with the powder coating, the upholstery is done locally, so matching your gym's colours is a normal part of the build rather than a special request.
Talk to us at enquiry stage. Because frame colour and upholstery are both specified per build, most gyms get the look they want through colour matching alone. Tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
Worldwide. Australia is handled directly by our Queensland workshop.
Every other market has a named Citadel distributor who handles regional pricing, freight, customs and install. See our distributors for who covers you. Anywhere we do not yet reach, enquire and we will freight to you directly, with install guidance either way.
It depends on your market. Australia orders directly from us. Every other market has a dedicated Citadel distributor who handles quoting, freight and install in their region.
See who looks after your part of the world on the distributors page, or just email us and we will point you to the right person.
Every machine is made to order, so the price depends on the specification and where in the world it is going.
Send us your gym, your country and the machines you are interested in, and we will come back with a written quote including freight to your country.
Either. Plenty of gyms start with one machine to fill a gap in a movement pattern; plenty come to us for a complete floor.
Tell us your space and the movements you are missing and we will tell you honestly which machines earn their footprint, including when the answer is "you do not need that one".
Each machine is cut, welded, coated and assembled to order in Queensland, then tested before it is crated.
Lead time depends on the current build queue and your specification, and is confirmed in writing with your quote.
At a Citadel Centre of Excellence: a gym running more than half the Citadel range (at least five of the eight machines) on its floor. These are real training floors you can walk into and lift on properly, rather than a thirty-second try at a trade show. See the Centres of Excellence on the globe.
Our regional distributors can also arrange to show you equipment in the United States, the EU and Korea.
A gym that runs more than half the Citadel range, at least five of the eight machines, on its floor. Centres are recognised with a Citadel plaque on the wall.
They are the best places in the world to try the equipment the way it is meant to be tried: under load, for a full session. Find your nearest one.
We work with a small number of regional distributors and we are open to conversations in territories we do not yet cover.

At the moment, yes. Every machine in the range is plate-loaded with Olympic sleeves. Several use multiple loading pegs so you can modify the resistance through the movement.
Roughly 142cm to 203cm (4'8" to 6'8") across the range.
They adjust through a genuine range of human sizes, not just the average lifter in the middle of the chart.
Every Citadel Strength machine is built from Australian RHS steel. The minimum wall thickness we use is 3mm; the maximum is 6mm.
Our stainless steel is 100% Australian too.
Yes. The machines are designed to be bolted down as specified, and the structural warranty is void if they are not. It is both a safety requirement and the condition the frame was engineered around.
20 years structural on every welded frame. 7 years on moving parts : bearings, bushes, pins and pivots. 1 year on upholstery and powder coat against defects in workmanship.
The structural warranty assumes the machine is bolted to the floor as specified.
All spare parts are handled by either the distributor you purchased through or Citadel direct.
Tell us about your floor and we will come back with honest recommendations, a colour spec and a landed price, wherever in the world you are.
